Animal Rescue Transport Team

Animal Rescue Transport Team is an organization that transports mostly dogs and cats from high kill shelters to rescues, foster homes or adoptive homes.  They give hundreds of animals a second chance at life every weekend.  They transport anywhere from 15-50 dogs each weekend on a volunteer basis.  So far this year they have already transported 600 dogs.  They also provide dog and cat food to people who are in need of it in Southern Illinois who would otherwise surrender their pets.

Cruisin’ Canines came across them from a client that was donating her dog crate that she doesn’t use anymore.  Since it is ran on a volunteer basis they are always accepting donations:

*dog crates that do not require pins to put them together
*old collars and leashes
*cat and dog food

If you are have any old leashes, collars, crates, or food and would love to help other dogs and cats in need please contact:
